CRE is AAA NAID Certified

In 2011, CRE was the first silver refiner attaining Industry’s Highest Security Certificate, NAID AAA Certification.

Burbank, CA July 14, 2011 – Commodity Resource & Environmental, Inc., a leading national silver refiner, has been awarded AAA Certification from the prestigious National Association of Information Destruction (NAID). The certification endorsements include the destruction of printed media as well as hard drive destruction.

According to Larry DeWitt – CRE’s CEO: “When CRE was founded in 1980, customers focused primarily on the silver values from their surplus films but paid little attention to the destruction of the paper radiology records associated with the silver recovery from their outdated X-Ray film. However, with the development and enforcement of HIPAA regulations for medical records, it became apparent that our customer base needed more assurance of proper destruction for these records. To address this issue, CRE purchased shredders and balers in 2006 and is extremely pleased to have moved another giant step forward with our recent NAID AAA Certification.”
